Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How Cybercon data center is rated as a tier one data center?
A: Cybercon's data center is rated tier one primarily because of its superior network connectivity: Our data center is directly linked to five of the top-seven network providers in the United States: AT&T, Sprint, Genuity, Qwest and Level 3. These top branded providers carry most of the Internet's traffic, so the majority of Internet users can access web pages and software applications at Cybercon data center through a single backbone. No long delays. No traffic jams at backbone intersections. All top-seven network providers guarantee their network uptime and packet delivery speed. We utilize BGP routing. Even if two or three of these top backbones have problems, our data center will continue to deliver your content.

Many network providers call themselves a tier one network. The top-seven network providers do not consider them equal and established a "Big 7 Peering Club". The "Big 7" consists of the best and largest backbones on the Internet: AT&T, Worldcom, Sprint, Cable & Wireless, Genuity, Qwest and Level 3. These top branded backbones only trade peering traffic among the seven members.

In addition to superior network connectivity, our data center is built on the state-of-the-art infrastructure: power generator, UPS, cooling system (HVAC), muti-level security checks, pre-action fire suppression system, and is managed by our on-site technical staff 24x7x365.
