November 01, 2001: Cybercon launches new Business DSL Internet Access in four states
Cybercon today announced the launch of its new business-class DSL service. Cybercon's new service is now available in Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. Customers who qualify may chose among an ADSL, SDSL and an IDSL connection with download speeds up to 6.0 Mbps. That is 4 times faster than a dedicated T1 connection.

September 01, 2001: Cybercon receives "Dedicated Server Award"
The Web Server List Dedicated Server Awards are presented monthly to web hosting companies who provide outstanding service for their customers. Web Server List researches the companies nominated and then chooses the best. Companies are chosen based upon, among other factors, the scalability of available packages, tools and control panels offered, customer comments, and their own independent tests and research.

August 31, 2001: Cybercon Acquires CyberElf, Inc's Web Hosting Customers
Cybercon, a leading provider of advanced Internet hosting and managed services; today announced that they have entered into an agreement to purchase the web-hosting customers of CyberElf, Inc. CyberElf, Inc., a Tampa, Florida based web-hosting and web design company, has been in operation since January 1998. Terms of the agreement are not being disclosed.

August 01, 2001: Cybercon chosen as "Top 10" web hosting company by Web Hosts Online
Every month, Web Hosts Online recognizes 10 hosting companies with an Award for their contribution to the web hosting community. Cybercon was listed as one of the top 10 web hosting companies for the month of August, 2001. May 18, 2001: Cybercon and MobileLynX, Inc., launch MobileLynXT
Cybercon launched a new wireless hosting application called MobileLynXT in partnership with MobileLynX, Inc. With MobileLynXT, you always have remote access to your servers and databases, and can manage them as if you were right there. The result is the ability to conduct business from any location without giving up control of your online services.

May 17, 2001: Cybercon launches new "Gig E" service, a first for the St. Louis area
Cybercon now offers a Gigabit Ethernet (Gig E) service. The service is the first of its kind in St. Louis. Even though Ethernet technology has been the standard for linking PCs in corporate "local area networks" or LAN's for the last 25 years, it hasn't been used to deliver high-speed data and Internet connections outside of the office until now.

April 01, 2001: Cybercon named in LocalBusiness.com's "50 to Watch"
Every quarter, LocalBusiness.com evaluates local private and small- to mid-cap public companies to find those that are newsmakers. Feb. 23, 2001: Cybercon has joined the Microsoft Windows Web Hoster Program
Cybercon will now continually receive Microsoft technical information for web hosters, including newsgroups, recent articles, scripts, white papers, and demos that will help us in expanding our services on the Windows hosting platform.

Jan. 02, 2001: Cybercon Upgrades Sprint DS3 to an OC3 connection.
Upgrading our Sprint backbone connection now gives our data center two OC3 backbone connections through Sprint, and Level 3 Communications. Our data center is also supplied with an OC12 connection through AT&T, and an OC48 connection through MCI WorldCOM. All connections are scalable to an OC192 if needed.
