The new GigE UUNET internet backbone addition makes the Cybercon data center one of the best Internet data centers
in the United States in terms of Internet bandwidth quality, scalability, and performance. UUNET is the largest
Internet backbone operator in the world.
September 1, 2003: Cybercon has opened a second Gigabit POP in a major St. Louis telecom carrier hotel
The second POP (Point of Presense) enables the main Cybercon data center to have a redundant data center site in St. Louis in
addition to an existing data center site in Newark New Jersey.
August 1, 2003: Cybercon Acquires Astro-Space Web Hosting Customers
Cybercon, a leading provider of advanced Internet hosting and managed services; today announced that they have entered into an
agreement to purchase the web-hosting customers of Astro-Space. Astro-Space, a Malaysia based web hosting company, has been in
operation since January 1999. Terms of the agreement are not being disclosed.

May 1, 2003: Cybercon offers dedicated Windows 2003 servers
The new Microsoft Windows 2003 server delivers better performance, tighter security, and easier management than
Windows 2000 server. Windows 2003 also provides increased support for managing storage area networks and makes it easier
for customers to build web services. Windows 2003 server offers build-in support for .NET and XML.
January 01, 2003: Cybercon voted best colocation provider by Web Host Directory
Cybercon has been recognized as the number one colocation provider by Web Host Directory
every month for the past 15 months! Every month, the top hosts are given a rating of 1 to 10
(10 being the best) in 6 areas of performance, including Cost, Features, Support, Reliability
and Speed. Once the votes are tabulated, the Web Host Directory Review Board takes a look at
the top rated hosts in each category and visits their web sites to make the final determination.
