Cybercon.com Program Offers Purchase and Maintenance of Top Layer’s Intrusion Prevention Solution for Customers to Deliver Non-Stop Protection

 

WESTBORO, MA – APRIL 19, 2004 – Top Layer Networks, Inc., a provider of globally proven intrusion prevention solutions, today announced that it has entered into a reseller relationship with Cybercon.com, a world-leading provider of data center infrastructure and eBusiness and IT services.  As part of a new enhanced security offering for Cybercon.com, the Company will purchase Top Layer’s Attack Mitigator IPS intrusion prevention solutions, resell the products to its customers and host the products in its own facilities.

 

Cybercon.com itself uses Top Layer’s market leading Attack Mitigator IPS system to protect its network resources and critical online assets from various threats such as HTTP worms, traffic anomalies, high volume SYN Floods and other denial-of-service attacks, as well as other unknown threats and zero-day exploits.  Realizing the value the Attack Mitigator IPS brought to its own business, Cybercon.com created a program to host and maintain Attack Mitigator IPSes for customers as part of an enhanced security offering.

Chicago Webs, a major Internet hosting provider, had already been a Top Layer Attack Mitigator IPS customer when it decided to take part in Cybercon.com’s enhanced security program to host and maintain the solution in Cybercon.com’s facilities.
