Cybercon.com - Data Center Security There are five levels of security required to gain physical access to securely hosted servers and equipment in the Cybercon.com data center. LEVEL 1: Code Access Lock to enter the building from the public street. Each customer is assigned a unique access code - and entry is computer logged. LEVEL 2: Security Guard station. Cybercon.com data center visitors must provide proper identification and sign-in to access the building lobby and elevators. LEVEL 3: Biometric Hand Scanner. All Cybercon.com employees and customers are required to pass in order to gain access to the facility. LEVEL 4: Once inside the facility, all server areas are protected by steel doors and Proximity Security Badge locks. The name, date, and time of every entry is computer logged and can be reviewed at any time. LEVEL 5: Locked Cabinets are provided for secure hosted servers. Keys are required to open and access these servers. All keys are managed by the Cybercon.com SMC staff. In addition to five levels of physical access security, the entire data center is monitored 24x7 by security cameras and Cybercon.com on-site SMC staff. Cameras are positioned at every entrance, each and every rack isle and customer cage areas. All security cameras are recorded.
Network security may be customized to the needs of each customer. We offer firewalls on network routers and switches, dedicated network firewalls such as Netscreen, Checkpoint, Cisco Pix, Watchguard firewalls, and software firewall on each server. Data transfers can be secured by VPN, SSL, and SSH. |
